First vector
So this is my first crack at vectoring something.
There are a lot of ends that don't meet up due to my lack at using the pen tool, but what bugs me most is the aliasing that occurs half of the time, and not half of the time.
Anyone got some good vectoring advice and/or tutorial I can get some ideas from?

Re: First vector
I like it, it's nice, but has some rough edges that could be improved on.

Use Illustrator. Vectoring in Illustrator is much easier than vectoring in Photoshop.

Over all I would say good job with your attempt Ketchup_Bomb. The only discrepancy I can really say is that there needs to be a slight gradient in the eyes.

Re: First vector
Umm, what gradient Insane?..
I don't see any in the original, and there's none in the vector.
There is a slight change of color as you get close to the light source coming from the top right of the image, but that was mainly affecting the hair that I negated and removed.
So...? =p
Thanks for so far guys.. I guess. >_>

Re: First vector
There are a lot of flaws. >_>
Which is why I wanted to advice but I don't know if I'm motivated enough to redo it. =p
I might just move on to another image and try some different techniques I've been thinking about.

Insane is right, there is a slight gradient in the eyes of the original, but still, if you placed yours over top of the background of the original I would never be able to tell the difference.
*Whoa, hold on there. Did I just say Insane was right about something?

The Hamster has been alerted. If you see food chips in your bed... I suggest you run... It likes it that way.Zieon_Eslador wrote:Insane is right, there is a slight gradient in the eyes of the original, but still, if you placed yours over top of the background of the original I would never be able to tell the difference.

Re: First vector
Just to prove a point. xD
As you can tell, the farther 'up' you go in the eye, the more blue there's going to be, caused by the light source.
It's not a gradient in the eye, it's on the picture.
But kudos for noticing a 8 value change and even more kudos for noticing a change in Red and Green in the left eye. >_>

That's odd, I didn't really see it in the right eye as much, but apparently it's supposed to be more noticeable...
Re: First vector
Your first vector looks better then mine did XD.
