Very sleek and elegant, as your work always is. The only thing that caught my attention for fixing is the bottom of the present, which is very aliased. That, and maybe try a thinner style of anti-aliasing for the white text. But don't get me wrong. It's very nice.

Yeah, edges of the present are too soft.. I like the style you're going with, but it's much too bland for the setting you should be considering. Party websites need to invoke excitement with a slight undertone of joy.. This sort of makes me feel "Oh, it's my birthday.. Meh, I think I'll just go hang with friends rather than have a party." - Get my point? Strong foundation, now throw in some more junk. :p

Holy cow it has been a long time! It's good to see your name on the forums again.
Welcome.
I do like the overall feel. The text has something about the change in color that bugs me, but I dunno what I'd change.
It also looks like the box is on one plane, and the birthday cap is on another. Like the box is leaning backwards, and the hat is leaning forwards.
Lastly, it looks like the reflection of the box is a little too strong. Maybe a little bit less opacity.
But other than that it's mighty fine. Still could use more cow bell as party favors. :p
