My 3D Halo 3 Sniper and Fusion Coil.

Wow its been a long time since ive logged onto halo mods. I come and check out here every now and then but no reason for me to post as i don't mod anymore.

Anyway time to cut down to business. During the time i have not been at HaloMods i have dived deeply into the world of 3D Modeling. Using 3D Max and Cinema 4D. Modding started out my interest in modeling. So here are 2 halo 3 models I've created using Cinema 4d.

I did post this on bungie and you would not believe the criticism on the errors i had with the bullets. Apparantly its the wrong bullets and i have to remodel it for em lol.

Sniper looks awesome. You really should texture it. Theres some parts on it that are to fat and to short, like the stands seem really short.

What exactly do you mean by short? I used references of the sniper to create it and A LOT of forge pictures. The fatness of bits on the sniper might not be correct as the references were only the sides of the sniper.

i agree. the "stand" or bipod(it should be a bipod) looks a bit short.

If you guys didn't know, a bipod usually extends... Fold down and pull. Or at least all of the ones I have seen/used do..

Edit- Some are automatically extended once folded down.

To DEEhunter you might have seen a similar gun like this on halomaps but if so it wasnt mine. They might have used similar refrences that i used.
