The city doesn't flow with the rest of the piece. It just feels...slapped on with no direction or purpose other than to give it a name.

How is it too bright? Looks pretty well tuned to me. I'd blend the city a bit more in there, but that's about all I'd do with this type of simpler vector work. Looks like something Ubuntu would use.
