Awesome, i never tried to do the space scenes, i may give it a try, what technique do you use, brushs, some 3d meteors and some reference textures/pictures of stars?

photoshop planet texture made with base textures i photographed and some resources from google earth. size: 10'000 x 10'000 pixels
Lengthy process of creating the star textures ( combo of above mentioned but with cloudmap editing.)
then alot of manual brushing for the neb ( standard round ps brushes ) enhanced by some textures.
modelling and rendering the asteroids in cinema 4d.
alot of composition and work to make it fit together
i didnt use refrence here, free made ^^
total time: ( i used some stock from earlier projects hehe, sneaky i know ) around 4 or 5 hours
