If you want to know how to change what weapons shoot
I suggest using Dothalo for it.
Open up the tag of the weapon your editing
Look in dependencies window
Find proj (projectile)
Swap it with whatever you choose.
Done =]

Swap it to whatever you choose means to select the projectile you want the weapon to fire. Select any one you would like.

sigh.
In the dependencies window in dothalo change the [proj] to another [proj]
of your liking.

e.g open weapon tag smg.
Look in dependencies window and you'll see the [proj] tag for the smg_bullet.
there's a bring down menu in the dependencies window and now click e.g Rocket [proj] then click swap.

Save changes and ftp map to xbox. (unless using RTH)
and now each bullet that comes out of your smg will be a rocket.

It can't get much easier.
Entity takes getting used to but you should start to use it by now.

I did contribute to this topic...I'll re-itterate what I said earlier just incase you'd like to read.

Take a look around the tutorials section, as stated above. It'll give you great insight into doing other more complicated but neat things. A general rule of thumb, the more complicated it seems, more of the "general crowd" will be enthusiastic about it. The tutorials will also help you explore newer deeper ways of modding. Hell, most of them will even be included in most of the things you come with thereafter. Good luck on your next mod! If you ever need help or have any questions send me a personal message. BlooDXKilleR, I admire your desire to join the modding community.
However, mods that include "Jump high, run fast, automatic weapons, etc." are mods that are not well accepted into the community.

Anyone can do that kind of mod. Most of us prefer mods that are more of..."art." Mods that have a brilliant skin, or mods that dramatically alters gameplay. That sort of thing.

The tutorials and utilities section will hopefully inspire you.

Heres some fun 1st timer stuff. swap projectiles for vehis, bipd, blocs, etc...
Example: take plasma pistol on HEADLONG swap 1st progectile to bloc/steam_lift. Swap 2nd projectile to vehicle/ghost. Now when fired you will produce a steam lift that push's you in the opposite direction. Like shoot down once, then jump, now your lifted by steam. Keep shooting down to keep moving up, get on a roof and charge pistol to spawn a ghost. You might want to move deathzones under map, or make their thickness 0.

I did this for one of my first mods with some other stuff thrown in, it was a blast.
You can also set the locations of your bipd spawns to roof, or make the teleporter send you there, very easily.

P.S the steam lifts will stay where you spawn them until spawn limit is reached, then gun will not work till you end and restart map.

i really attualy only download mods i jut wanted 2 see if any1 would lik a 1st mod by me and i meant for it 2 be a cheatin mod and im prob not gunna update it anymore
