mp-sp .map conversion

a while back i tried to convert tutorial.map into mp (not the bsp, the whole thing) it never worked
today i'm sittin at my comp, and i decide to try to make zanzibar an sp man (the whole map, not bsp) and guess wat???
i did it
its not done, but i need some help
right now, u spawn spinning and flipping around, and i need help fixin that
anyway heres the pach

Im taking a guss but it prob has to do with the single player spawns not being set correctly in the scenarios tag check these areas : Byped Placement, Player spawns. Also try to set up the cinimatics. I Im thinking of do a map pack like that In theory you could play SP with the all the functioning stuff in MP. It would be cool Co Op Online.Sorry for being off topic

na i set the spawns, i think i'm missing a script to unstash the players. i did get the other 24 scripts in to get this far, so yea

i would if i could... but i cant, i wouldnt be very reliable... the fact that im grounded, and that i dont know two things about how to do a conversion.

So, basically when you go through a cinematic scene, instead of going to the next level, you go to zanzibar? And if this is the case, couldnt we make it where you walk through a hallway in zanzibar, and you end up in lockout? Then, since all of those SP levels are linked together, couldnt we have all of the MP maps linked together. EX: You drop through a hole in lockout and you end up in midship, you go through a hallway in midship and end up in beavercreek, etc.?

I know that converting Zanzibar been done before, because I remember seeing the "first AI in multiplayer map" a LONG time ago where it was an Elite fighting you in Zanzibar, and I remember seeing the video on a website whose name we're not allowed to talk about in here. The map was just a Single Player version of Zanzibar.
You know, doing stuff like this would make AI in "multiplayer" maps much easier to handle... and you could even play with a friend if you do co-op.
instead of going to the next level, you go to zanzibar?
Well, there's no reason that it wouldn't work. The only thing that it would take is some scripting knowledge, most of which HaloMods doesn't quite know about yet, I'd imagine. You could, essentially, link every map together.

um...... i don't see the point of this topic.... before I remember a mp-sp convert of zanzibar.... I think it was you, snake. and also we have said the bsp switching will work in mp........ so y test it with sp, we already know that it works in sp. i don't see the point, maybe a missed a post some where.

its a .map conversion
this is zanzibar.map converted to a sp map
learning to do this can help make custom sp maps possible, plus as far as i know it hadn't been done before

this pach changes the format of zanzibar, and the name from zanzibar to oldmombasa, but its still zanzibar, meaning that every tag is exactly the same as the mp zanzibar, it is mp zanzibar.map converted to a single player format
open it up in entity and look at all the tags it is zanzibar.map
just to clarify i'll say one more time, this is zanzibar.map in sp
