Ok well after a little thought and time, I came up with my very first mod ever.(So be nice, lol ) Also feedback is greatly appreciated.

Name: Lost in Space
Theme: Outerspace
Map: Lockout
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features:
- Masterchief is an ODST Marine that is skinned really nicely.
- Whole map reskinned to an outerspace look and feel.
- New Sky.
- New lightmaps.
- New grenades(Plasma is a green comet and frag is a rocket with saturn rings around it.
- New weapon effects to go with the theme.
- A few new weapon sounds.
- SMG has a jetpack effect.(just in case you fall off map)
- Battle Rifle has added flashlight that shoots green alien blood with shooting star effect.
- Plasma Pistol shoots comets with really cool impact effect.
- Plasma Pistol charged shoots banshee.
- Many other changes just dont remember so download and check it out.

Well I messed up by double posting and it wont let me delete the other one, srry about that. An Admin can feel free to delete the one without the download. I signed my name on the glass because so everyone knows it is mine and people cant copyright.

That's actually not too bad for a first mod dude, good job. =)

Those skins look horrible, but it still looks like it may be fun.

Looks cool, reminds me of a room filled with black lights.

i played it, and it was ok, nothing too special. Though if you have just started modding, than you have done a great job. Lots of differnt things were in here and thats a great thing. Most first mods dont have a lot of things.

Anyway, great job if this is ur first.

i think this looks good. In a fun sort of way. not a mimesis sort of way. good job!

No he said and I quote, "That skin is horrible." If he was giving his opinion he could have said something a little less harsh. Like, "In my opinion I really don't like the skin." Well I did take it as flaming because of the harsh words that were used, but I guess I dont care because it was my first mod and I like it so that's all that matters to me.

no... im very good with gfx and i cant skin very well...

anyway, this is a great mod for a first i remember a film called lost in space, it was great fun....
the only think i cant quite get is how do you add like new impact stuff? like when a bullet is shot at a wall or object or anything, like a nova ring or something, spirals get created, i cant do that yet can you please tell me?

8/10 for the mod. the 2 missing are .

1.lack of time put into the mod into the skin and weapons.
2.banshee(if it works) is boreing and is too large. 1 of them covenant flying chairs wud be cool... that shoots a charged PP shot or 2...

I strongly dislike the skin on account of the top of the sniper platform, that alone just throws off the entire skin. It looks like a lawnmower hit it.... hard.

And putting your name in a map isnt neccessary at all. It not only throws off the feeling of the map (in a sense that this is supposed to be all in space.... I dont think people would be putting grafiti on the bottom of a glass sheet. If you want to prevent copyright... then HIDE your name in the map somewhere.... so that they cant just go ahead and remove your name from the glass and then release it. (which I doubt would happen anyhow)

Overall I dislike the mod... probably because its a first but hel, its better than anything I've released for Halo2 so props on that.
