Mod: X wing in containment

It was a boring afternoon, so I started moddling, behold: the fruits of my labour! It's not much, but my friends though was pretty darn fly. It is an X Wing fighter that replaces the banshee in containment. I haven't tested the patch yet, so tell me how it goes if anyone downloads it. If it doesnt work I'll make a PPF or something. It even comes with it's own R2 unit, I call him R2R2. At the moment I am flying around listening to the Star wars theme. Apart from the model it is just a banshee with:
-Sentinal beam shader on most of it
-Ghost collision model because I felt like it.

If you think this could somehow be related to Haloween please tell me. Also, does anyone know how to get the projectiles to come out of the wings where it's supposed to?

awesome. i put an awing in containment. i've got about a gig of sw models i found somewhere i've been playing with. a lot of them are hard to put in. they are too big and detailed or something. a lot of stuff only part of the model would show in game. i put a lot of stuff in though. it had to be shrunk drastically

My DarkMatter kept crashing and stuff, but it worked anyway, first time I tried the X Wing was half the size of the map and insted of flying in it, you flew next to it.

that is fuckn tight man, awesome job, im guessing u were able to extract the banshee model, rumors say it cant be done :wink:

Extraced the model for banshee I did. Inject it back in, i could not, the dark side of the force clouds it. Inject model in to a weapon I did.

that my friend is fucking sick. It would be awesome to have a full blown starwars mod where red team is darthmaul and vader and blue is skywalker and yoda1 :lol:

use the weap tag it has the x,y,z axises ud hafta duplicate the weap so tehre are 4 of em(1 per wing) and place the accordingly

I'm not entirely sure why the last pic is there, but it looks cool. Mr tfav sir, how would I go about duplicating these weapons? Do you mean add some more firing types, because I think that might work.
