I've been trying for a few days to get the Marines in Outskirts completely replaced with Spartans. I hit a few snags in trying to get the Marines' original dialogue coming out of their new models, and ultimately had to give up on that. I also had to go rummaging for the location of the datum storing shield recharge times, which were set to zero by default for marines [causing invulnerability when shields were added].

Anyhow, I thought I'd share the fruit of my labours. I found it rather fun to play through on Legendary. I've modified the Battle Rifle to 1-shot, fast trigger-ness.

Heh, well it's the first enjoyable modification I've made to date [well, with the exception of a nice foggy version of the grassy Burial Mounds, which looks and plays pretty nicely].

To be honest, I wasn't sure if the location of the shield recharge time element was widely known. I know I updated Insolence with the latest plugins and they didn't have it. I had to look for it myself...

Anyhow, it's still fun to play in my opinion.

I wish I could post my SP mod but whole map files are against the rules

hes done things to it so 1337 which you couldnt make a patch of. So far only person i know who could make patches with anything is iron forge

Well not really l337 but I did some cools things to it but some things i did made it so the patch wont work but maybe i will inject tag to tag meta and not darken the map even though it wont look good unless the map is darkened

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can u make an AR save of this and PM it to me. I beg of you. I know its easy to do but it sounds REALLY fun. PLEASE pm meeven to tell me that you cant. It would be cool if u couls though.

You cannot save maps to AR replay or make a profile for a multiplayer map that has mods on it

It is not "very easy to do"

no one can do it so dont say its "very easy"

where did you even get that from?? no one has ever said that you can do that

all you can do is basically change where you resume or one or two things with hex editing

"Ladies...!" "Ladies...!" Please settle down and stop your fighting. Tom's right you know. You can't just go around downloading maps and putting it on your xbox (Modded or unmodded). It's completely impossible! Unless you goto Xbox-Saves and buy the Mega-x-key to download modded maps strait to your xbox, btw it has to be a modded xbox. If you want new maps that are made by modders then just get the Mimesis save to your xbox, but it's not released yet.

Edit: Why don't you just buy/bid a modded xbox off of Ebay, or visit Thegodmod.com to get a really good modded xbox with 400 HD drive/memory?
