I updated the app and fixed some sound, memory, and decompiling problems. I also fixed the problem with ADI thanks to swamp fox. Check out Vicis

NICE! that sounds like it will work for me for some reason.

EDIT: would not let me rebuild because of some error. Object out of reference or something like that.

Thats what I said

But we should keep a format
Computer Type - PC
Processor, Type and Speed - Pentium 4; 2.8GHz
RAM - 1.25GB

Code: Select all

Computer Type - PC/MAC
Processor, Type and Speed - _________ ; ____GHz
RAM - _______MB/GB
code for the next person(fill in the blank, and pick between PC and MAC)
Minimum - Decopile and Rebuilding time is 2-4 minutes

Computer Type - HP Pravilion PC
Processor, Type and Speed - AMD athalon; 2.4GHz
RAM - 512MB

Thats the stats of my home PC and it take around 30 minutes for the whole proccess of decompiling to rebuilding and I need to shut off all apps to prevent locking up.

Computer Type - MAC
Processor, Type and Speed - Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz w/HyperThreading
RAM - 1 GB

Takes 'bout 10-15 Minutes to decompile, rebuild, move spawns, resign, ftp, and enjoy. So, good timing for everything I guess. Like 1-2 minutes for both the decompiling and the rebuilding.

EDIT : I can listen to music, and be in entity's bsp viewer with no lag to my computer at all.

Oh, and btw, for whoever wanted to make barriors, you take a huge wall/bloc/mach or anything with collision and null all of its shaders. Then, you place it in entity (or you might have to place it before you null the shaders.)

Or, you could use my idea....well, bungie's idea. Create AI turrets, make them stay in one spot, and surround the area with them and give them great aiming. So, once you get in a certain range, you get pwned...by AI turrets....sweet!

I say that this app should have a minimum of 2.5 GHz Processor, 512 MB RAM For resonable speeds around 20 minutes
but we should still wait for more results

My 512 mb Ram did not give me even close to twenty minutes, more like 6 hours, but it worked. I think that you should have to try and at least have about a gig of ram.

MAJOR TIP!

Ok, I have 1GB of ram.. say thats not working for me and I want 4 gigs of ram, but I don't wanna go and buy it. Well, heres my/your fix.

1st - Go to Start > Control Panel
2nd - Click on Performance and Maintenance > Adjust visual effects
3rd - Click the tab named "Advanced"
4th - At the bottom there should be a "Paragraph" named Virtual Memory.
5th- Hit the button named "Change" and make your settings look like this -

6th - Hit "Set" and then hit "ok" and then hit "ok" again.

7th- Restart your computer and you have 4 GB of ram!

Computer Type - PC
Processor, Type and Speed - Dunno ; 3.06 (Or 3.6, I forget)GHz
RAM - 1GB

Takes >30 minutes to decompile/compile.

Also, I'm guessing the paging file thing takes room from your HD? =/

If you don't have that option you can always use the disk cleanup tool and the defragmenter
