Your sig just reminded me.Prey wrote:Quaternions are regularly used for rotations in game development, it's just how it is. You would think that Vectors would be used (and more than not they are), it all depends on the programmer.ManBearPig_06 wrote:I thought that quaternions were easier to use than vectors only when dealing with a trailing float point behind a model. How/why are they being used here?
Ehh from what I can remember VSM and Entity are graphically identical - same textures are shown in the same way...Shock120 wrote:Will the BSP viewer look better than Entity's &/or as good as Prey's Visual Scenery Mover[...]
Makers of Soffish, make the BSP as good as or better than Prophet.
@ Prey, did you import lots of code for Prophet as well.
Edit: Too late...

hey i dont know much about modding but one thing i would like to see is a button that adds map slots to mainmenu, i am still trying to work out how to do this D= i have read a few tutorials but it baffles me. It will click in my mind soon enough though . But yea a button for adding maps would be cool.
As for UI i think multiple maps can be done like multiple animations in adobe flash AS3, if you have not seen it im sure google has pictures somewhere. Photoshop also has a good user-friendly layout, sorry bout all the arty programs but i just finished a year of Digital Graphics =D.
