well i used yelo and it froze then switched back and it ran perfect just a little bit ago, maybe because in yelo i wasn't just doing disable update but had bypass map checksum on as well.

It works fine for me either way...

My update is unaccessible by the default.xbe though so that may be why it works without yelo.

Make sure that you really don't have the upate.

Yelo doesn't disable the update when the default.xnb v1.1 or v1.5 is on your halo 2 folder.


I did this equipement a long time ago and it works pretty well, this will be added to the next coag build ;)

Worked fine for me after I renamed coagulation.map to coagulation3volved.map.

Shouldn't the Chopper be a bit larger? Anyways, I really like the work. If I could comment, I'd say that the models for, say, the mauler, seem less refined. Is there a bump map for it? My advice is to ditch the plasma nades and add in the new incendiaries. Replace the Warthogs with Mongooses (Mongeese?) and replace the Mongoose in the base with the equipment. I'm too lazy to drive to the three-tree-forest and the rock slide for my shields and bombs. But then I have an excuse to drive the Chopper...

Great beta!

(BTW, when I need to flip over the Mongoose and Chopper, it says, "Hold X to switch ally's PR. Bug?)

You did nothing wrong. I had the same thing happen, because the maps named differently it counts as a new map and can take a few minutes to load the first time. Someone said this wont happen but it happened to me so.. Just give it a few minutes to load, once it does it should load instantly from there on out.

everything on default, if so choose just default slayer gametype and see if it will load then, if not idk

it froze for me on equipment the 1st time. but i disabled the auto update and it worked fine. it is amazing. but i thought it could hold me until a week...but after you messed with everything, all it is, is some new vehicles and weapons (which act like other vehicles and weapons.)

but still it is awesome...you better relase that map pack soon...because halo 3 is almost here and when halo 3 comes...i probably will just stick with halo 3.

okay me and my buddys were playing, and i think we need to get together and run some variants, i know me Dark, Jackson, Jeremy, and others played last night, but i want to run some ctf on this baby, the mongoose makes it possible to ramp over the base and drop off the guy you want to get the flag and then go under the base where banshee was and go out the side door, i love it so tonight or tomorrow night get on kia, we are going to play :twisted:

Thats actually a sick idea I want to try that, The mongoose is so PERFECT, atleast I think, its the best thing in there in my opinion.

I agree! Mongoose is da bomb :p fortunately for all you guys I will be editing all the weapons and whatnot I place in my maps so they all are of equal visual quality! Just got to wait on certain people to finish up their testing :p

I love what you people are doing to this, I will agree that the beta did have bugs, but what beta mod doesn't have bugs? even final versions do, nothings perfect, but I'll say that this mod has been the most funnest System linkable mod I have EVER played, When the pack is out for all of the maps to be playable I will tell you that I'll still play it, even if it comes out after the Halo 3 release, I won't be getting H3 probably for the first 1-2 weeks it arrives anyway, so this should keep me rolling along the Halo road :wink:

Yelo does disable any of the updates correctly as long as you have the option ticked.

I just have the xbe patched to disable auto-update.
The map works great, only a bit of lag when I destroy a mongoose or a chopper. I can't find the bubble shield or the trip mine, though. :( Do you enable them through the patched mainmenu? If so...

The mainmenu.map patch crashed Serenity three times in a row. Yes, I used the newest Serenity, and for the sake of security, I tried older versions before posting. I just downloaded the SPPF files, and I'm trying them out. Should work better.
I play on XLink Kai as FJGamer. (FJ is my Halo 2 profile.) I have a mic, and I love to play 8 on 8 mics versus no mics. I also love to mod Halo 2. For some reason Halo 1 won't work on system link, though.

i noticed that if you flip the chopper then instead of saying "press x to flip chopper" it says "press x to take alys plasma riffle"

Ditto. I just got the SPPF. Works like a charm.
Also, the trip mine and bubble shield should be at the two Rocket ammo spawns.
