how do i add that meta to my own map with darkmatter?

and are people that join your game able to go through the walls as well?

Im interested in this bsp meta adder, with this could i say make a meta with 2024 bites of zero'd out meta, add it to the bsp and then have that much more space in my bsp?

hmmm ive always knwown poke has alot of stuff...nows probly the time to talke to him ;)

but then whats the use of adding meta's or blank areas to a map? the only thing i can think of is having room to successfully add weather but thats just a thought

the bsp meta adder is really just for research so you can add meta to the bsp and fix the reflexives manually. I would like to point out that even though killingforfun asked me to code this, darkmatter is still my app and which i coded by hand and didnt work on with anybody.... i am just customizing it to further his research.

... im not taking credit AT ALL for dm... Im saying we worked to gether on the sbsp meta adder.... He just thought the easiest way to make a sbsp adder was to inclued it in dm.....

I've been watching this site just become more about ego and getting credit than about anything else. Even the guys who contribute the most, and are KNOWN for their contributions, seem to be scrambling for credit.

He gave him credit, but, what, Not ENOUGH!?! who cares..........

how do u get rid of the invisible barriers on the map and the ones that hold back the banshee? plz post a tut if u can! i already know how 2 get rid of the death zones. some1 plz answer me already!!! good job though! srry 4 posting this so many times but u all just keep ignoring me!!!

Invisable barriers requires editing the maps collision, Its not easy.

its not easy accually anyone can do really...

my new app out bsp remodeler(also shows bsp vertices) is a quick and easy way of finding the right verts.

simple open ur map and goto view>collision then look for xyz verts for something close to the invisible wall

High6, those seem to be a little off. Also it doesnt extract the collision verts right, you'll see soon enough :wink:. Either way expect v2 sometime around next weekend.

dude i never got time to finish. if u didnt read my post on it. i was talking a break from bsp and working on other stuff and then to get hacked so i released and it wasnt finished and they are off becuase every thing reads them dif. but, the difference is like 0.0000001 in float is that really that big??

Well, according to the coll bsp verts right infront of me, your is off by...a lot of things, to be exact on coag, you have over 1000 extra verts, Coagulation forms an L, when it should be a straight line, and most verts are off.

u do realize my app gets all the verts and glitchy guardians doesnt edit them all.

glitchy's app has an error which i had with mine which got really annoying and it was when it was looking for places for verts it would read a size as a -negitive number so it wouldnt scan.

i spent like 30 mins on that and finaly fixed but glitchys doesnt do that.


btw ALMOST 3 DAYS WITHOUT A PREFIX.
