Here are the rules for this forum:
1. The Maximum filesize is 10MB.
If your mod is bigger than this, it will be removed.
2. You must post a mod. Links are ok too.
If you only post pictures, your topic will be moved to the pictures forum immediately.
3. If you rebuild a map you can post the full map, otherwise you must post a PPF file.
If you didn't rebuild the map and you post the full map, your topic will be removed withing 24 hours.
4. Do not post both a ZIP and RAR file of the mod; choose one.
If you post both, the larger file will be removed.
5. Do not advertise in other people's topics.
If you do your topic will be removed.
6. Please remove your PM file attachments ASAP. We are limited on space.
Please post pictures if possible. Do not post BMP files, only post pictures that are well compressed (.gif or .jpg). The get pictures of your map, open Sparkedit and then the map. Move the map to the points that would be most helpful for people to see. Hit shift-Print Screen. Go into MS paint under accessories and hit paste. Edit the picture to show what is really needed and not show your whole desktop. Make sure the width is not too big as it is annoying to read some topics with the need to scroll to the right. Save as one of the above extensions.
Please put the name of the map you modded in the subject.
Inappropriate content will not be tolerated and will get you banned from the forums. If you see a thread that doesn't follow one of the guidlines/rules, or turns into a flame, or you see even a single post of that nature, Please don't hesitate to PM a moderator, it would help a lot! If need be, PM a few if there's no change.
If you can't follow the rules, don't post anything. If you have questions, please go to http://www.halomods.com/forums/ and use the search function. If the answer cannot be found, then feel free to post a question on that site.
Newcomers should start here: http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12363 or http://files.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=8138 or http://files.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=3043
Thanks!

Misc. Xbox Mods (NTSC) Forum Rules-Tuts inside
BUMPING| Prevention
The User Submitted Download Forums have grown tremendously in recent months, which has brought about many new users. There are many mods in our database, many of which are oustanding, which has made Halomods.com one of the most popular Halo modding sites. There are many good things about giving access to so many mods, but there are problems too. One of these problems is bumping.
Recently there has been an overkill of bumps (posting in old topics). This can/does annoy members, moderators, and admins. Rules are currently in place regarding bumping, but many users disregard or simply don't know the rules, which can be found here. So beginning in the next few days a new system will be put into action.
Bump Prevention System:

Rules are currently in place regarding bumping, but many users disregard or simply don't know the rules, which can be found here. So beginning in the next few days a new system will be put into action.
Bump Prevention System:
- Threads that reach the fourth page of the forum, will be locked. (Threads can be locked/unlocked at any time by any Moderator/Admin)
- If the owner of the thread wants to add/edit to their mod/utility, you must fill out a complaint form in the "Complaints and Suggestions" Forum. Once reviewed AND accepted, a Moderator/Admin will unlock the thread temporarily.
- If a user wants to compliment the creator of a mod/utility, simply PM (Personal Message) or Email the owner.
- If a thread has been locked, but you need help with the mod/utility posted, user should post in the "Tech Questions and Problems" Forum
- The consequences for not following the new system will be unique from case-to-case, or as the Moderator/Admin sees fit. Each failure to comply will result in a warning and/or strike. If problem persists, the user may be temporarily banned, or permanently banned at the discretion of the Junior Admininstrator, or Administrator.
