Removing Options From The Main Menu [h2]

well now that i am nearing completion to my skin. i was wonderin
if anyone ever got options removed from the main menu?
i saw a post about it a long time ago but couldnt find it..

I don't think you're able to completely remove the options from the mainmenu, but you can definitely get rid of the words that appear.

Open your map in any hex editor, search for the string of whatever you're trying to remove, and replace it with spaces.

It will show up blank on your screen, but the option will still be there.

well i want to totally remove the options campagn and xbox live to where u cant even hover over it but i when i was editing the hex and accidently deleted some letters and when i readd them they map (mainmenu) fails to load.

that would be a huge problem with hex...
very careful one must be :-)
Entity 1.4 has a string editing option.

Like I said, I don't think you can take the options totally away.

I'd assume they're coded in the default.xbe which would be very hard to edit.

You may want to talk with Xbox7887 as he would probably know the most when it comes to Halo 2's default.xbe.

Or Kornman00 he is a .xbe editing god. ;p

Finding Mike is easier than Kornman, but yes, he would also be a good person to talk to.
