transferring weapon from map to map

Ok, I know that in insolence when you want to take a weapon from a sp map and put it in an mp map you just drag and drop, but what about entity. I know you have to save it and then build it into the map, but I don't know if I should have recursive, parsed, and sounds checked. I don't know what recursive or parsed does, sounds like sounds saves the sounds for the weapon too but I have no idea. What I want to know is, which should I check and why?

ok go to the weap tag and then click on the weapon you want to drag over from campaign map, then check recursive and parsed and press save(save it somewhere on your desktop) then once it says done open the map you want to inject it into an check recursive and parsed again and click build, then find the weapon on your desktop (example: it will say like battle_rifle.info) and click the .info, then it will inject it into the map. and your done!!

Well, I already knew how to do that, what I wanted to know was why you don't check sounds, and what does recursive and pursed mean/do?
