HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I've been trying to remove the background of certain pics i've retrieved from a map by HMT, like for example the flag, there's some background taken off if u pay attention to it in hmt, i was wondering how to do that but with pictures I want to implant.

For example:



Like in this picture i took off the background with the "background eraser"




I can save it in .PNG without any problem




But when i set the output file to .dds , i can't find a way to SAVE IT as a .dds and with the background removed because when i try to save, it says :

""THIS MESSAGE""




I can choose my format but whenever i get back to the file, here's what it looks like:


And like in the 4th picture, it says that it can save but with limitations to a merged image. What program can i use to take off the background and make it stay that way when i save it to .dds????

Crack, animated sigs aren't allowed.

um... i need help here

edit: plus my sig only takes up 47kb! on other posts, other people's sig take up to 73kb, so wtf

can u just help me with my problem, and send me IM's concerning rules i might be not following?? geez this place is too sensitive
