need some help transferring models...

This is my first post, first topic and all on these boards. It's a great site, and I hope I can get the help I need. I have been looking at the skins and mods and downloading them, but I don't want to have a modded map just for one sweet looking warthog, or one really powerful weapon while everything else on the map is just plain. So is it possible to take the changed weapon/vehicle and place it in a single map, all together? Then I could have one coagulation with a bunch of cool stuff rather than 7 or 8 with a single weapon or vehicle changed. Thanks for any help provided.
