HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Well, I've been playing the mappack for months now and I jsut upgraded my harddrive to a 250 gig so I saved it on my harddrive. I started it up, failed to load the maps, so I said hmm....just load a legit halo 2 map off the regular game, so I did, and went back to the killtrocity map pack, still fail to load. I have 50 .map's in my map folder including the mainmenu.map and shared.map So, if anyone can help me (I know this is extremely old) then that would be great, thanks.

Edit: Works off the disc but won't work off the harddrive. I used a game name changer to change the Halo 2 to Killtrocity....could that be it?

clear your cache drivers x,y,z.. that might be it

Well, i cleared cache, started it off the harddrive, failed, loaded a legit map, then tried again, and failed, so its not the cache. Any other suggestions? I just used DVD2Xbox 0.7.8

Edit: I've also noticed, the same profiles arent for Halo 2 and the Killtrocity on my hard drive for some reason, I have my profile on halo 2 but i had to make new ones and such for killtrocity, if that helps

tough call.. perhaps its your XBE file. try a clean XBE on the HDD

I would say start over there. That could have mmessed something up. Put it back, or use a clean xbe.

Ok, its working...just I have to have it with the normal .xbe for some reason, if I change it, it won't load so now I have a "Halo 2" and a "Halo_2" on my harddrive which looks funny, but it gets the job done. Thanks smack and monkey ^_^
