How do you know what original map to use for the patches. I'm trying to use the glasswall by Swampfox, and I don't know which map to patch. I have read his thread 2 or 3 times, yet I can't find where he mentions what map to use. He mentions something about Gemini, is that a map, becuase I don't have it in my Halo 2 directory.

Thanks

UPDATE: Just found a video that shows gameplay from this map, and the thing is I remember playing that lvl, so I should have it, yet it's not in my mainmenu. Where should I look for it, in the E\:Data somewhere? And if I find it, how do I fix it, lol?

It's for Gemini. If you don't have it, go download it for free off Xbox LIVE.

Gemini is one of the new maps released by Bungie after the Halo 2 release. To get it you will need to disable your mod/unmod your Xbox and get it from Xbox Live, or purchase the Multiplayer Map Disc, which should only be about $10 now.

The chip I have installed, can be disabled by turning it on with the Eject button. Is that disabled enough, or would I need to remove it. I mean, can Xbox Live detect the presence of the chip even if I have it disabled. I have a bigger HD to.

BTW, I edited my original post if you havn't noticed.

Thanks

Ok got it fixed, now question. I thought you couldn't edit the maps that were installed in the Tdata from an update. I know I read that a few years ago, has that changed? Then again I'm not chnaging the original just making a new one from the source. But is that still true, that the original can't be changed?

Thanks

You'll need to add it to your main menu.

Ok, I've added it to the Mainmenu via Serenity automatic use of mainmenu, works quick I love it! But When I go to play, and I choose that map, the picture is all screwed up. It's just a bunch of different colored squares, and I can barely read the description because the picture is so messed up. I have two other maps that I downloaded using Mimesis v3; Aerial and Metroid Tunnel that have the same problem.

Can this be fixed, or is this just a problem with the glasswall serenity patch. I opend it up in CH2R and the dds picture looks the same way.

Thanks
