hey there. the answer is easy, while in your evox or unleashx, go to file browser, then to TDATA, and find 4d530064 . go into it. there may be two more folders. if so, go to the top one. if there are three, and they end in 0001, 0002, or 0003 then
Folder ending in 0001 contains: Warlock and Containment. This is the Bonus pack.
Folder ending in 0002 contains: Turf and Sanctuary (deltatap). This is the Killtacular pack
Folder ending in 0003 contains: Elongation, Gemini, Relic (dune), and Terminal (triplicate). This is the Maptacular pack.

thats where you put the maps. have fun!

No, doing that would require a TDATA resigner wich is not allowed here. Add the maps to your Mainmenu.

First, follow this tutorial. Then apply this patch, made by Snave, to the mainmenu.map. Then disable the AU.

ok...

AU = AutoUpdate.
It is a simple update that sits in the Xbox's memory that does not allow added maps to the main menu to be loaded.

To disable it, head to E:\TDATA\4d530064\ and rename the $U folder to $Uupdate.

Once it has been disabled, follow the tutorial MrBalll has provided, and go nuts from there.

i can go into my maps on halo 2 and the new maps are there ( in the actual game that is...), but i cant find them in my modded maps folder, where i get the maps to apply the patches to, to overwrite into my xbox. do you see what im saying? how do i get them in there...also i cant find them in the maps folder when i am in my ftping into. so when i try to overwrite it onto my xbox, theres no map there to overwrite.

Just copy them from E:\TDATA\4d530064\$c\

They are located in the three folders at \$c\ level.

No, you need to do as MrBalll said and add them to your main menu.

If you do not want to do it that way, you can always follow my ancient tutorial...

ok this is really confusing. when i load halo 2 on my xbox, the new maps are allready there, as in i can play them. if youve modded old maps youd know that once you apply a patch to a map, you overwrite it into your \E\games\halo2\maps...etc. what im saying is, none of the new maps are in that folder. do they need to be? how do i get them there? these are the answers im looking for... thank you all for your help, i appreciate it more than you know.

Just drag them from the $C folders onto your computer, then drag them into the maps folder, just like KB told you a few posts ago.

Just because in-game you can see all the maps on your Xbox doesn't mean all the maps are in the same directory.

Drag + drop the maps in $c to your maps folder in E:\Games\Halo 2\maps\, rename the folder $u, in E:\TDATA\4d530064\ to $uKETCHUPBOMBISAWESOME.
Then add the new maps to the main menu, using any of the tutorials that you have already been provided.

ok
