HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

alright, ever since i broke my arm, ive been going to the library for a study period instead of gym. i got bored and went on the computers, and tried to vist halomods. now the thing is, i can make it to the homepage alright but when i try to acsess the user or files forums it wont let me, they are blocked.
i read zandi's webfilter tut and got the ip of this site at dnsstuff.com. though the hompage, user and files forums all had the same ip, so that wont work. i tried using a proxy but i think i messed up on it so ill try it again on monday.

i think the way its blocked is that my school blobks all sites with the word "forum." i saw some kid trying to go to the bungie forums, and he was blocked too.

anyone know how to get into forums that are blocked?

sounds like you should try a webproxy or a proxy server. (just try a few google searches for "web proxy" or "free proxy")

my tutorial has different browser setups to make it use a proxy server, and webproxys you just go to the website and use it. and if neither of those options work, download Torpark, install or put the install file on some sort of portable media, and use it. or download it and install it while using the computer at the library.
