Nope.
Wait until you get home and then play my suggestion.
Most people do wait until they are home or they get a laptop to play on.

get to command prompt. i have more than one method in my bypassing webfilters tutorial. anyways, get to a command prompt and type in
Code: Select all
net user god ownz /add /localgroup
This will add a user to the local machine (not the network) with the username bob and the password ownz. if this account doesn't have administrator priveleges, it will be the easiest account to give admin privileges to.
or use the at command to start a command prompt, i believe this (sometimes) starts a command prompt with administrator privileges.
or use saminside to grab the sam file and crack it so you can find that machine's admin password and log on.
if you don't know enough about any of those to do it, do a google search and you'll get what you want.
but really, the best solution is to ploay at home, or play a game that doesn't require installation, like soldat.

no. that would fall under piracy, so either do it yourself and don't get us or halomods involved or don't do it at all (preferably the second one). besides, i think it would take ust a bit more than having the folder to run it. i do believe there are some registry keys involved.

More than likely your school's computers don't have enough RAM to run the game smoothly. My school's computers sure as hell don't. And it's kind of sad that you can't wait until you get home to play Halo.

Also, don't triple f-in post, learn to google, and no legal action but probably many a detention or some other school punishment.

That helped me with a few things I needed too, why do you have to be so uber on bypassing schools filters?

something i've done my fair share of reading up on. just wait, i'm taking networking this year, and cabling the next, possibly even getting my CCNA soon enough, so things can only get better.
to apocalypse: use google, the sam file isn't viewable on windows, you need to run the saminside program which will grab that sam and start cracking it. if you have to move around, you can save sessions, then restart them later to crack at leisure. and the legal action depends on what you do. just don't do anything stupid, and if you just have to install halo at school, try to be inconspicuous.
Trial on Cd

Apologys for the necro-post, but this must be said.
I do this all the time. At home, simply install the trial on your home computer, then take the "Halo Trial" folder and copy it to a CD. Now whenever you want to play, just go into the folder and click on "Halo.exe". This will start the program.
...or instead of a cd
