skinning problems

Post by uncutshadow »

when im trying to skin the gun turrent mount, the gauss turrent, the scroipion
treads, and the walls it always comes out in all these different colors like its corrupted. how do i fix this because when i go back in to dothalo to look at the bitmaps it says,
"an unhandled exception has occured in your aplication. if you click continue, the app woll ognore the error and atempt to continue. if u click quit then the app will shut down immediatley. index was outside the bounds of the array"
i cant change the bitmap or extract. so what do i do?

1: Did you internalize the bitmap?
2: Did you inject the bitmaps in the right format. ( DDS 2 or 3 etc.)
3: Did you try starting ove with a new map?

ok i figured out the problem. i am so ashamed of myself. when i was skinning i did it the lazy way. i just got 3 bitmaps that was each type of dxt and used it for all the ones i wanted to skin  when i started over on a new map, i took each bitmap from each thing i wanted to skin and now it works perfectly :o . thanks for the help(not being sarcastic) 8)
