How to swap pictures in the mainmenu

i need to know how to change the background in the mainmenu im not talking about the cityscape with the Covie Capital Ship. i mean like as you navigate throught the mainmenu. and also how to change the big Halo 2 to your own words. any help would be great. Thanks!

You would need to edit the bitmaps. Just go to the [bitmap] tag then extract them, edit the .dds, save it as the right DXT format, then inject it back in. You would do the same thing for the Halo 2 text.

oh yes. i know that. but...that i cant find the right bitmaps except for the Halo 2 text and that doesnt work right. the words halo 2 are still there but theyre completely black and you can see my words that are only visible in parts that fit in the words halo 2. i dont know if that makes sense but its kind of like a bump map.

For the "Halo 2" text, when you edit it, also paste that into the alpha channel, or fill the alpha channel white. Then save it again.
