BSP freezing Issue.

I recently converted a bsp over the old gemini.map. I checked parsed and recursive (with 1.2.1 of Entity) and saved. Then I opened gemini, hit build and selected the .info file. It worked, then I moved spawns around and other necessary stuff and I can see it fine in the bsp viewer. Then I sign and overwrite on my xbox but it just goes down to zero at the count then freezes? Any one know why? Should I be checking sounds? Any steps I missed?

What BSP are you transferring? There are only a couple you can do a BSP conversion with.
Here is the list of maps you can do a BSP conversion with:

I did High Charity High 5, because its BSP is smaller than that of gemini. Why wouldnt it work?

If you are doing it right, it should work. But you are right, High Charity 5 does fit.

Can you give me a step by step way of doing it? I tried another map the same way (and i like the map better) but it still does not work.

Try this. Afterwards, don't forget to move spawns.

I did exactly that yet it doesnt work...?
EDIT: Just tried injecting the new BSP i want into terminal. Same thing happened. Froze right before the game started.

Try transferring MP to MP. Perhaps your maps are corrupt?

My MP maps are not corrupt. Im beginning to think its my SP maps but they are unmodded. Check your PM for more details.

Ok I reinstalled my actual mod instead of doing it the unmodded way. I converted the BSP (spec op's your serenity file just made the map freeze like any other time).
After I converted the BSP without changing anything I ftped and the map actually started with me stuck somewhere in the map. So I was like "Woohoo" so I went back to my comp edited players spawns started it up...and it froze. Wth is wrong!?!
Could it possibly Be that I still have the xbox live update 1.1 and if so How should I delete it?

his maps are not corrupt... the BSP will not load in ANY way.. it's not multiplayer compatible thats all.
same way spacestation bsp will not load in some weird way.

No the BSP did load when I converted after I remodded my xbox. Then when I played it I was stuck. So I fixed the spawns and then it froze again!

well which way you turn it, the map will freeze anyway if you do it with entity. been there , done that . /with this bsp/

don't use entity. try hexwise.

well there's tuts around for convering a sbsp hexwise. after you converted it you can use entity again.
entity in this case messes something up in the sbsp thats why it won't load. maybe it's not multiplayercompatible like i said before..
