[Halo 2] Seat Entering Position

The Enlightened One and I have been working on perfecting the Longsword.
- We have made it flyable (of course.)
- We have given it collision (yay!)
- We have fixed the name (of course.)
Help:
- Since we have given it collision, you cannot get close enough to the seat to enter it. Therefore we need to move the seat entering position farther back.
If anyone can help at all, please reply.
Thanks,

the collision is not very good it has alot of holes and isnt much bigger than the collision of the banshee

granted that you did this over the banshee there should be a marker in the banshee mode that has to do with the driver enter posistion. that and you can increase the enter radius of the seat.

So you have to edit the banshee model to change the seat position? So like:
- You open the banshee model in a modeling program.
- You find a dot or something in the middle of the seat.
- Then you move it over to where you want to get it at?

Umm no. You'd like open the mode tag for it in Entity, find the Seat positioning chunks in the marker reflexive. Then edit the spawn offsets of the seats, on either the X,Y, or Z axis, depending on where exactly the longsword is placed upon the banshee..Also, if you can get RTH working, that will save you hours of fine tuning co-ordinate values.

So by doing that, you could like (lol) walk to the back of the longsword or where ever I set it, and press X to get it.
Also, I need help on giving it full collision when not being driven and when being driven. Thanks.

Well, theres probably a few markers you'd need to move. One to enter the seat, and at least another one to sit in correctly.

hey i figured out
the seat position was finethere was something wrong with the string id
but now the problem is the collision
its highly flawed
i want it to be perfect
or as close as it can be

You could move the seat or just go into insolence vehi ifp and change the seat enter radii to like 10, its much easier
