Skinning the Mainmenu

I really need some help skinning my mainmenu.map

I want to know how to extract and inject sounds into my mainmenu. I want to know how to change the text for where it says Halo 2 and Press start to continue under it. And last I need to know how to change that backround color on there. I removed the blue filter so it's orange now and I want to change it to something else.
