I started hosting LAN parties and well we were bunching up on 4 modded xboxes rather than the 6 we have for Halo 1 so I was wondering if there is a way to hook up more than 4 xboxes for halo 1 like XBC does? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

pretty sure there is no way for halo 1 to support more than 4 xbox's and no more than 16 people no matter how you do it.

XBC doesn't handle more than 4 xbox's in a room. XBC tricks your xbox into thinking it's a lan. So, there's no way you can have more than 4 xbox's in halo 1. Now halo2 holds of course up to and no more than 16 xbox's.

I could sworn long ago that I was in the lobby by myself with 3 other xboxes and there was 1 on 2 xboxes and 2 on the third box. We started the game and we had 14 people on Sidewider. It was years ago and I could have been intoxicated, but I could have sworn we had that many and those xboxes had only 1 or 2 on it.

XBC has the feature of "Multi-box Compress." I have no idea how it works, if it works, or if it still available.

I just remember that you had to pay for it. XBC's premium account or whatever.
I will look into it. Maybe we could code a program that would allow more than four Xbox's.

That would be so aewsome for our LAN party's. Im about to get a 360 and then our LAN's will have up to 7 xboxes each time and it would be nice to play with about 2 on each TV.

Edit: we all prefer h1 over h2

I don't prefer Halo1. If I could choose the starting weapon/grenades better like Halo2, then I would play it more. Pistol battles get boring.

I just think it owuld be nice. Like I said before, we're about to have a total of 7 xboxes at the LAN's I hold so it would be nice. If not, I might have 2 seperate games going, I don't know. But good luck trying to code that thing Ketchup_bomb if you ever get around to it.
