I've new to this forum and I just started on modding games and I have two questions.
1) How do you exactly connect your Pc to Xbox? I have a cat-5 cable and smart ftp program.
2)Are all mods on this site are for Xbox and PC? If not are there any for xbox?

To start off for number 1, your xbox must be modded (go to
http://xbox-scene.com/ to learn how to do that). Then you find out your xbox's ip address and use the ftp program to connect to it (username is xbox and password is xbox.)
All Halo 2 mods are for Xbox (as there is no Halo 2 pc yet.) As for Halo xbox, it has its own section (NTSC is for the USA and Japan, PAL is for everywhere else.)

I dont think you can connect with a cat 5...you would need a crossover for a direct and if you have a router you can use cat 5.

How much does a modding chip cost and will can you buy it at stores lyk Ed games or do you have to order it online?

Online.
This is Halomods, not Xbox-Scene.
Don't ask any Xbox questions here.

Check Xbox-Scene for modchip prices. Modchips are illegal(except in Australia). If you walk into a brick and mortar store you will most likely be laughed at and turned away. Check Xbox-Scene, it will have all further information.

A few more qustions. Where is my xbox's ip address? I have action replay for xbox, is that any good for downloading mods?

No action replay is just good for gamesaves and softmodding the xbox. For mods you will have to mod it then use an FTP program. After your xbox is modded your IP will appear on the mainmenu screen somewhere. Try using
www.xbox-scene.com for tips on modding it.

Thats because you have to either have your xbox softmodded or hardmodded before you can make an FTP connection.

Are you going to finish that last sentence? Anyway did you put xbox for the name and password with no capitals...capitols, however you spell it?
