Spark edit save

Post by kibito87 »

So i decided to revert back to halo 1 modding. Well i'm using sparkedit and when i save the changes i've made... it gives me a cache.tmp file. What am i supposed to do with it? I've done extensive research to find out what to do and i cant find anything. The manual for v3.0 doesnt show anything for it and nor does any of the tutorials or "help" topics i've peeked into. I've tried modding the cache map of bloodgulch and the .map itself. I'm not sure what else to do here...

Yes i do have 3.02. When i hit save, any way it saves it gives me that cache.tmp. The cache has more memory then the original map itself. The map itself doesnt change how big the file is no matter how i save it.

i never double post. With the exception of this one time. It seems as though you cant exactly get help if you dont bump it and keep it semi near the top. Notice this has been here a few days and compared to how many people have modded halo using sparkedit i dont think it's over the top saying its rather unusual to get no responses. And thank you for not helping. If anybody has any real suggestions or help i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

*EDIT* and yet still no responses. So much for real help...

I'm sorry for having to do this but nobody will notice this at the bottom of the list. And it's been a week so hopefully this might spark something/somebody that/to might actually help me. *bump*
