moding problems

when i mod and then hit save this thing pops up and says exception error and then when i go into the game and the samething pops up and closes the game out. what can i do to make that not happen?

i use dot halo and i mod halo

We are referring to what type of Halo.

i think the problem is you are changing the map file in a way that halo can detect, and as you know halo doesnt like modders/cheaters, somethings in halo you cant mod, and it will always give an exception if you do mod something thats not at all suposed to be modded
