Problem with Dot Halo

ok, i have DotHalo1.0b3.0 and i have used it b4 and it worked, but i just got a new comp and had to get it again from a different source, i think i might be missing a plugin, maybe not, but what happens is, when i go to load the matg tag or globals, for a map...it freezes, and says not responding, can anyone help me? any help is appreciated.
and please try your best to help me and not say pointless mean comments, i may not be as smart as some of you but you dont have to be rude...just saying so none of you do it.
