i dont think you will get an answer here. Best bet is to email the company, or search there site for a tutorial on how to set it up.

this happens to my computer all da time. i just inplug the videocard, blow on the slot, then plug it back in, and hook it up, some time i need to do it to my processor, but in your case i think the OS dosent know which card to use so it dosent use any, id try disableing the built in card(if you can)then installing the new one, otherwise you might have to look into buying a new motherboard.

ok, simple fix. your comp is still sending the signal through the onboard video card, so you need to plug the monitor into the onboard card again and go into the bios (press F1, F2, or DELETE during startup depending on motherboard) and find the graphics settings (ps, it won't be called "graphics settings"). There should be an option to either disable the onboard video or to switch it to pci. you're gonna have to mess around because every bios is different and i can't know what you're seeing on the screen. Finally, plug the monitor into the pci card and reboot.

or just start windows with the default and go to the device manager and go to the onboard and hit disable and install the dirver of the new card.I also have an Intel crad.Do you have a compaq presario?Cause I installed a graphic card on my presario and it destroyed my whole computer.

did you uninstall the intel gfx ctrlr?(unhook it?) Did you install the drivers that came with the gfx card("catalyst", i have a radeon too)? Perhaps you installed it in to the wrong port on your mother board, or plugged the monitor cable into the wrong port?
