Can someone tell me how to change it from just black to chrome because this is just annoying!!! :cry: :evil:

In case anyone's wondering what i'm talking about heres a pic
and yes i did set all those thing in the graphic control to highest (well as hight as they can be on 800 x 600 anyway)

It's your video card. Older/lower end video cards display the MC's visor as a black surface. Get a new video card if you want to see the gold MC Visor and bump maps and all that kind of stuff. I suggest http://www.newegg.com if you're gonna buy a video card (off the internet).
