lag

Post by james587 »

when i play halo and i have lots of people online, my comp lags like hell and everything slows down. im thinking of getting new parts for my comp like maybe more ram or a processor, but i wanna know exactly what's gonna take away the lag. so basically, how can i get rid of that lag? i have a pretty good vid card, im pretty sure its not that, so what can i do to get rid of lag?

What kind of Internet connection do you have, and how many players are you trying to support in a game?

I'm not sure if this would work, but try disabling shadows, that should help alittle.

It might be the other people lagging, not you.

Get a faster CPU and more RAM. What video card do you have? It might not be as good as you think.
