ok when ever i try to pmi it will not work i have been through many tutorials.....i do everything everyone tells me and still when i try to play the map it minimizes the game and says gathering exception data what is wrong????

Make sure the map you extracted from was nice and clean. Not modded at all. I couldn't do it when I realized I was extracting modded maps.

find the rebuilt map and check how many bytes or kb's there are

If you're injecting into Sidewinder, it's not gonna work. sidewinder is the "glitch map".

uhh...no...u cna inject models into sidewinder, and other stuff to.
sounds like you are using an evil b40.map! dont use them! there EVIL! try another map file.
