Multiple XBL Profiles On An Xbox?

Hey,
Just a question I need cleared up.
Say example one already has an Xbox Live account made on his Xbox, can he put his Xbox Live account onto another Xbox that already has an Xbox Live registered account?

yeah you can...on the xbox dashboard go to account recovery then put in all the information then your account will be only on that xbox and not on any others

Wouldn't the serial numbers clash?
Like example ones Xbox serial is registered to his, wouldn't it clash with example twos serial?

no you can have two names at one time...i think youre thinking of the hard drive serial code
