k, first off, let me explain whats going on: in pc and ce i like to use all sorts of weapons and vehicles. i use them all. but i prefer the pistol cause it does a lot of damage if u make a headshot. n since i happen to be really good at making headshots i can take someone down in 3 hits with the pistol. some people complain that im cheating or hacking. most people tell me im an "aimbot user" and aimbots are supposed to be really good. what is an aimbot and where are they found?

Aimbots are programs that automatically aim for you. They are very frowned apon in the gaming world. If a server finds that you are using one, they will most likely ban you.
Besides, if people think that you are using an aimbot, then you are good enough to not need one.

lol, some people use them though or at least something similar. I was in a server and the other team could kill me in one shot from the pistol.

theres alot of aimbot users in Quake 3 Arena[one of the reasons i went to halo]...its impossible to sneak up on them too, as soon as you see them, no matter the angle, they start shooting at you.

also, the draw back to an aimbot is the rocket launcher, since them always shoot at your head, they'll almost always miss, unlike unassistated aimbot[human] shoot at the feet or ground.

What game were you on when they cheated? On halo ce, it is very hard to cheat on it. Unless it is your own server, or it is being hosted by one person, then they can't usually cheat.

lol first time i heard them i refrenced them to AIM (aol instant messenger) LOL i finally fiured out what it is lol

The only aimbot that works for halo is a color aimer. It aims towards a specific color, and then never stops. This is very bad in halo, seeing as how you would catch a single red pixel, anywhere, and never be able to get away from that spot.

ya i do fight without an aimbot, but i wanna try it out in legendary to see what it would do against the covenant, theres no point in using it in multiplayer cause i rarely miss. anyone have a link?

I've never seen someone use an aimbot in Halo, but there is a website someone pointed me to (in order to beat down a buncha really tough AI's in a mod on C&C Renegade), www.unknowncheats.com which has cheats for a small number of games. I am assuming that Halo for the PC is there too. I've never dared to use cheats lest I get banned from the server. Maybe there's an aimbot there?
