Games playing in slow motion...wtf

Post by sangheili123 »

All of my games are playing in slow motion, and it just started happening today. I loaded up Halo today, and it was playing in slow motion. Same problem with custom edition. This is the first time its happened to me. I'm also getting the slow motion problem on THPS3 (tony hawk 3). Its happening in both single player and multiplayer. No, it's not lag.

I'm no computer wiz, but I know my computer can run both these games at good quality settings, because it has before, without ANY problems. I've used lower settings but to no avail. Do I need to defragment? (random guess).

Thankyou for your time and I hope you can help me =)

I highly doubt its spyware because I have that anti virus/spyware stuff, and it's only the games that are slow. Something corrupted?

Doesn't matter... It could still be a virus eating up your ram, making the system have problems loading stuff into memory, slowing it down as it needs to do it bit by bit seeing as there is a restricted amount of memory.

Also antivirus doesn't stop everything.

If your computer is anywhere near semi old...it may be caused by leaving your computer on too long. I had a computer that when left on too long, would make every take longer to load. Mozilla, games, anything really. So if you have left the computer on for days like some people, you may want to turn it off for awhile and give it a rest. That could be one problem...
