ok, i know ho to change the background and everything and add stuff, but i cannot find how people have been changing the text and even adding pictures instead of the halo 2 emblem, any help?

and i suppose that is in the mainmenu.map

ugh, cannot edit it, i use halo 2 sound tools to add diff music. but when it loads the game, the new music plays for about 15 sec and the game freezes on the main menu, and if i go to play a map, all the maps are failing to load..wtf?..help!

Look for a bitm called startscreen. It can be a little hard to notice, but it's close to the bottom of the very long list. Just extract the dds file and edit it to your pleasing. Don't forget to edit the alpha channel.
