taking out bases

Post by Battery »

you know in coagulation the red and blue base, and the rocks, is it possible to take those out of the map, and make there be a patch of land there instead?

The bases...no. The rocks yes. It's kind of a bitch to remove each rock without messing with the rest of the bsp scenery. Guess and check is the only answer.

I don't think it would be that big of a pain... You just go to the [sbsp] tag then the Meta Editor in Entity.
Go to Tools>Show then check off Show Invisibles.
Find the structure labeled BSP Scenery Placement.
Just edit the Z cordinates and change it to -10 so it spawns where you can't see it.
In game you will notice it leaves a black spot, all you need to do is null out the lightmap or edit it.

Delete the rock's bitmaps and collision model.
