Ok really quick.
1. Open your Halo2 bitmap internalizer.
2. Open map.
3. Find bitmap you want to skin.
4. Click internalize
5. click shared.map
6.Open up DotHalo or Entity and find the bitmap you internalized and extract.

You have to internalize first.

Yep, you will have to start over if you don't want them to screw up, but that's the good thing about skinning you would only need to internalize the bitmap FIRST then inject the bitmaps again. =D

No you can just if you still have the DDS you can inject those right in without any problem. Just put it in a fresh map.
EDIT: Just make sure you internalize that bitmap first.

Looks nice but next time try using a more complex things. Not just like one solid color.
