Plasma shields for bipeds? [Halo 2]

Before, I tried to move bipeds from SP to MP, and wondered why the game freezes when the un-original biped gets shot, now I got an answer= null out the udlg-sounds.

But my point was, how can I get plasma shields for them, I moved the floodcombat_elite to Waterworks, but his hands can be cut out too easily, so how could I get some shield for him? I heard it has something to do with the hlmt, right?

And I'm using Dothalo, the only mod utility I got to work, in addition to Insolence, which is missing it's edit mode for some reason. I told you that for that you'll know I can't use many others. My computer is very old and can't run just any program.

well the flood doesnt have plasam shield dependencies so what you could do is change the mastercheif hlmt to the flood and he will still have his fp arms and normal shields then you could shader swap the legs and arms to make ti look more like the flood

Well, alright, but I was able to do that with Insolence. It had the value editor.
