Wireless router issues.

Post by Warbandit mk 3 »

My linksys router is being a pain in the ass. Everytime it checks my computer's settings it asked for a password. I entered it, and....nothing happened. I did everything the help on the disk told me to. And still, nothing happened! Please help!!

Yeah, but it might not be a problem with the password, and they might have a general solution for problems like this.

True, but the way he discribes it, he can't get into the settings of the router because the password isn't working. they may be able to help anyways regardless of wether it's a problem with the ISP r the router itself.

Common Linksys is so n00b-secure.

If you changed the pass just press the reset button at the back of the router.Dont forget to set a WEP key so neighbors can't use your bandwith.
...left for good
