<not the best place to post> Graphics Cards...

Post by {KAC}Mousey »

i was recently talking to a friend after a sleepover today about his graphics card and i was asking where can i pick up a 256 mb PCI card cheap?
he kept telling me " a shop" which is a bit ghey because what exactly is that supposed to mean?
If anyone knows where i can pick up a 256 mb pci card, preferably an ATI could you plase get this topic moved into the right place and post where to get one? :?

so what did you do, overclock it?
i'm looking for the looks more than the performance beause my pc is pretty good with halo, it can run it just fine even when there's a lot of action
(if i have it in 800x600 res  lol)
if you actually saw the graphics in game on my card you would understand dude,
it's a Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 440, only 64mb and it SUCKS!!!!
i need PCI as well because i don't have AGP :x

Uhh, dude. The xbox's video card has 64 MB to work with. A computer that's 6 years old could keep up with an xbox. Comparing your card to an xbox's is like comparing an OC line with a dial-up connection. There's just no point.

And lastly, as long as your mobo supports it, the Radeon 128 MB card is DDR. Meaning that physically it's only 128 MB, but logically it's 256 MB.

'Why do I keep interferring' eh?
Hmm, well, considering that that was the first post I have made in the entire thread, I am going to have to assume that you are an idiot talking to an imaginary poster named Bill-Tard.

And if you really wanted to know, you would have gone to Google. Not Halomods.

It already comes somewhat overclocked. There's really no point in overclocking too. Since it's already a beast.
I have a simple 5200 GeForce but mines overclocked to about the speed of the 6200.

There's no need to edit the bios to overclock almost any nVidia cards. There is a registry print that can be added to unlock any of the GeForce series cards.
The name isn't coming to mind at the moment but I will let you know if I stumble accross it.

But just to let you know what you're looking for:
