I should be done with the bsp tommarow so that leaves 3 days to compile. If i win this contest i better get at least $10
Also, on the note of the ground texture, I fixed it. I can't see the grass on my notebook, OR my desktop, so it's hard to get it to be the right size.
Also, to the person flaming about the Firefly, the main reason that the Firefly returns to the Draco when you get out is because I suck at scripting and that was the best I could do. Also, because it returns to the Draco, it can be a little more powerful. It's also horribly innacurate and the range on the bullets is extremely short. And your thing with getting the flag, that is exactly why I didn't go any further to get the boarding script working.
I hope that Jarocks can complete the map without totally messing it up, lol, and trust that he will get it working nicely.
If he doesn't, however, the 5th version of the 3rd Gamma, wil be the final version.

dude this map is so sweet. love the draco and the haclyon. and some questions; i just downloaded the thing from page 4 and it doesnt seem to be the most recent one (im not sure thoguh). and how come the jackhammer only has 1 shot?

Bacon... no offense... but in all honesty... the light bridge feels way out of place there and doesnt look good at all sure its cool to have a light bridge but.... to make the map look more professional I think a real bridge would be better

The camo has no purpose except for the fact that it looks better than the old texture.
Speaking of which, due to all the complications for the past few days, I'm uploading the newest version, newer than any version I have sent to any one, to RapidShare. I will post the link at the bottom of this post, just let the thing upload. It is Separated, Gamma 3, Version 6 and includes the custom post game report screen, camoed Draco, the AT4 and various other things.

Bug include:

Bridge is off by a bit
There is one vertex in the Draco that should have been moved down. It's on the exterior and if you look from the back you can see the hallway on the inside.
Please let me know if the cargo bay doesn't show up, 'cause I just made my shader_models and if they didn't work properly, they'll be invisible.
If they did, the cargo bay and the doors will cast a shadow, but not the energy field I don't think, which means it may still have a hole in it, but not quite as big as the last version.
Also, I want to know what people think of my custom post game report screen, considering most people don't take the time to make one. It includes the credits, in no specific order (though if Jarocks does finish his BSP, he deserves to be first) and has the camo texture in the back. I posted a pic on the previous page but no one said anything.
EDIT: oh yeah, and it doesn't support odd ball or race and the hill for KotH may be a little off (it is supposed to surround the bridge). It doese however, support CTF, which is what it was made for. Slayer can get messy seeing as how both teams' players can spawn at the same base.

I know I am definatly going to get flamed for this but bacon for all due respect I dont think the new camo skin fits too well with the draco.I actually liked the old black skin it looked alot cooler.Thats just my oppinion please dont flame me.I know even know it kinda camos the draco from the level with all the grass stuff still it looked alot cooler in black.

1. The old skin was a placeholder, as I said from the beginning.
2. The new one IS the old one with a Camo pain job (look closely)
3. The old texture was meant to have a bump map on it, but since you can't have bump maps on vehicles I had to make a new one with a different look.\
4. I hate the Pillar of Autumn texture, but it was the only human ship texture in Halo to begin with.
5. The new texture took too long to make to be scrapped for something from bungie. That camo is 100% custom.
Also, nice hanger, Jarocks, let me know when it's all textured

Three quick questions:
-On the third floor, between the cafe and the monitor room, where there is a corrdior which leads out of the ship, is that going to be an airlock later?
If so, what is its purpose? If not, then what is it?
-Can you make the Point Of View on the Firefly first-person? When flying out of the Draco's hangar, and through the tunnel, you're flying blind. Not to mention the third-person reticle you're using for it will function just as well as looking through the Firefly's windshield, where it already is.
On a separate note, can we expect to see the flamethrowers back on the Firefly?
-How will the collisions on the Draco be in the final version and will it be enabled while the vehicle is being piloted, or at the very least, when hovering?
Let's say someone is at the Pilot's station of the ship, I'm in one of the seats on the second-floor monitor room, and the pilot has the Draco hovering over the opposing base.
Would I be able to get out of my seat, walk through the halls to the stair junction, and either down to the hangar to get on the Firefly, or up to the third floor and out the "airlock," and cap the flag?
Just wondering. And so far, so good with the map. Can't wait for the final.
