Can you zip your 3ds max scene and it's textures and upload it to a site. If I can see the scene I'll have a much better chance of finding the problem.

Yea HaloRenders.com will be nothing huge but i think it will be a really good place to go if ya want a render or two, and mabye we'll do a few custom renders a week not completely sure yet. We are still looking for a good template though :wink: .

Hey, this tutorial is awesome! The only thing I noticed is that when I extract models in ADI (like that elite) it isn't labeled in body parts. It's only numbers and stuff like that. For example the name of the file would be elite.1.obj instead of labeling the parts

you need a different ModelLib file, then they will show up like in the tutorial.

Put that ModelLib file in the Libraries folder of your ADI, then when you extract the model it will look right.

Does anyone know of a way that you could take the object that you extracted, edit it in 3dsmax, and make a whole new object out of it, and inejct it back into the map. For instance, make an ATV like they were close to doing, then put it in instead of a ghost.

But i have a question. I have all the updated software, but i can get the DDS files in to photoshop. I have the DDS pluging from the Farcry site and the Nvida filter. Does anyone have a Working DDS plugin they could put online or send to me on AIM?

i need help because some reason i can't apply the bump maps or textures, i've followed the tut but all it does is make the mc gray, maybe its because tural didn't put enougj files in his package, i don't know. can some one please help me
