My first mod (WIP)

This is my first mod. Names I'm thinking about are "The Assault on Zanzibar" or "Beaches of Africa".
So far I have AI (only the standing kind, but works with the theme of the mod)
Crate on the Beach for Cover
Attacking Spawns are in the Water
Defenders start out with a Ghost
Attacking Warthog and Ghost Spawns moved
This first version is compatible with nonmodded xboxs, since I am the only one with a modded one of everyone I play Halo with. I plan on improving this with a second version with new models and skins. I hope you like what you see so far. The only glitch is minor, but the AI sometime like to get out of their turrets at the beginning of the game. Thanks to all who helped out with all the question I've had making this mod.

Don't use halomods to upload your pictures. Use imageshack.us.
It needs a skin.

Yes, it does need a skin. Don't release it just for people to test it, release it when you think it is the best it can get.

that's what version 2 is for. So I won't release this one and start working on my skins and such. Also I'll remember to not post pics on Halomods next time.

u need a version 1 before a version 2........ that looks more like a version 0.4 to me, but nice job so far and if I seem a little harsh it is because halomods seems to have a shortage of great cool new mods.
I actually can't wait until your final, I want to see how you improve this.

I think some effects would be pretty cool too.

Last time I checked, the users were encouraged to do it. In order for the pictures to saty with the site, incase something happens. For example. a lot of pictures were lost during the merge because they were not uploaded to halomods.

Why would images be lost if they weren't hosted here during a merge?...

Well just to clarify what version 1 of this mod was. It was an AI Objective mod. The best game types are Assault and 1 Flag CTF. And The reason there aren't any effects and such is because it is meant to be system linkable with nonmodded Xboxs. Which it is currently.
But I realize that is too little for a good mod to be released on this forum as I've been a member for almost a year now. So I'll go ahead with trying to improve it as much as I can now.
So for this first phase I'll be changing the Spartans to ODSTs. I'll be adding more covanent AI bipeds. Hopefully skin it as I have no skinning experience. And add more scenery from other levels that I've been eyeing. So this will now be my version 1 and keep what I have now as a seperate file for my own use. I really want my first mod released to be a good one and not just another "OH PROJECTILE SWAPS, SUPERSPEED, AND SUPERJUMP, HAXORZ MOD!!!!!" sure I did that at first, but there was no reason to post it, so get ready, as I will hopefully not dissapoint.

If you are asking me for a technical answer, then I dont know. But unless some authors went around deleting all of their pictures in their threads for fun, then they were lost in the merge.
Or it could be a coincidence....
Either way, the last I heard from Locke was that users were encouraged to upload images to halomods.

It's a waste of space.
Besides, if a picture is hosted on a
different site...Why would they be lost during a merge.
